Time for an additional med says Doc.... *SIGH*

Well, after explaining to the Doc that I have good days and bad days as far as the severity of my anxiety, he decided to add another medication to my daily bucket of pills to swallow a day. He told me the name of it but I have since forgotten. When I pick it up at the pharmacy I will list what it is here. He did say however that it was mainly perscribed for Bi-Polar Disorder.
If these meds dont seem to kick in quickly, I may be forced to go back to work on Xanax. And that basically means walking around like a zombie and possibly being in such a deep slumber from the Xanax that I urinate wherever I am sleeping **cringe**
I had a great day today, I got alot accomplished and had a few hours of visiting time with an old U.S. Marine friend I worked with at Costco. Stay safe in Iraq Ryan... I will be thinking of you bro.
Things are looking up around here. Alot of the stress Loyda was having at work has since been completely eliminated from the picture. I have never seen her so happy and smiling so much. It is such a relief and pleasure to see her so happy about life.
We are looking into putting Kimmie into headstart this coming year. She is so excited about it. When we go to church, she has her "school" as she calls it, to go to while Loyda and I attend the service. She talks about her "going to school" all week and looks forward to Sundays. It is basically child care inside the church with short lesson on the Bible, coloring and making crafts etc.
I haven't had a real bad depressing day for a very long time. But there are days I have trouble just walking out to take the trash to the cans or to get the mail. Other days I am fine and can go food shopping or run errands as long as I have taken my cure-all Xanax. I try to limited my Xanax intake due to its addictive nature and the fact that it is a Benzodiazepine. That class of medication really scares me. I have read horror story after horror story about people getting stuck on them and having one heckuva time trying to get off of them. I do not want to be one of those people.
All the news for today folks...
Enjoy your weekend.
~Dave
