Wow does this guy have it good! I am not sure what the scoop is, but for the last 4 or 5 days I am having a heckuva time getting to sleep and staying asleep. If I fall asleep, I hear EVERYTHING. I wake as if I had just lied down and slept not a wink. All of my normal bag of tricks are not working. I know I am going to be sickeningly tired at about 2PM today which is when I have my Psychologist appointment. I hope I do not fall asleep on his couch!
The Doc switched up my meds again (Lexapro this time) which put a damper on my attitude of getting back to work and out of this stinkin' house anytime soon. However, for 3 days after taking the new meds I felt great. The anxiety was manageable and I was visiting stores with little trouble. The last 4 or 5 days though, I am finding myself avoiding going out all together again. I can not for the life of me figure out the pattern. What makes me feel well enough to go out one day and then not the next? Good news at home here? Enough sleep? Proper medicinal levels in my blood stream? The moons were aligned? I really have no idea. I have tried and tried to figure it out but I can't.
Loyda, the boys, Kimmie, and I had a great time talking with Lil' Loyda on an MSN voice/cam call almost all day Sunday. That girl is something else. I can't wait to meet her.
I have always been interested in the ancient Mayan civilization. I did a huge report on it in high school and found their culture very interesting. Well, except the human sacrificing stuff, that is kinda eerie. But after an Internet based "Information on El Salvador" quest I have been on the last few days, low and behold guess what is in El Salvador and very close to where we will be staying? Yup, you guessed it... ancient Mayan ruins. There is the remains of an old Mayan city named Tazumal near where we will be staying. And you can bet your bottom dollar i will be taking hundreds of photos of the city. The name Tazumal means, "The place where the victims burned" Here is a link to the Tazumal Wiki page if you are interested in reading it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tazumal
That is about all I have for you folks this morning. I am going to TRY and lie back down. Wish me luck! Peace to all of you and thank you for reading and posting comments.
